Who are we?
Extraquipment, founded by Victoria Oderich and Avery Smith, is a 501(c)3 organization that provides sports and arts coaching and equipment to underserved children. A dedicated, interdisciplinary dancer and well-rounded athlete and volleyball player, Victoria and Avery want to share the impact sports and arts have had on their lives. Help us promote good, old-fashioned fun, friendship, and the exploration of expressive outlets together.

Supporting the Community
Extracurriculars are costly, and challenging for families to afford in the "pay to play" era. How is Extraquipment bridging the expense gap that keeps some kids sidelined?
Programs:

Sponsorship: Extraquipment proudly helps to sponsor children at the DePelchin Center for Kid's Christmas Project (2022-2025).

Summer Sports Camps: Extraquipment recruits student athletes to coach track and field, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, and volleyball to elementary-aged campers, including at the Hester House. We are looking for new partners, email if interested!

Donation Drives: we proudly provide gently used dance costumes, books, sports gear, and equipment for local nonprofits in the Houston area and Brazil.

Extraquipment has official Club chapters at Memorial High School and the Kinkaid School in Houston, TX. We would love to expand our outreach to your school, please contact us if interested.
